The spell deals 1d6 points of damage per two caster levels (maximum 10d6) to creatures with the (Spirit) subtype and forces them to return to their home planes. A successful Will save reduces the damage by half and negates the banishment effect. Spirits whose home plane is the same as their current plane are immune to the banishment effect.
